Core / 01—03

Productivity + identity + endpoints

01M365

Work from anywhere. Properly.

Microsoft 365

Email, files, Teams and the rest of the suite—set up properly, migrated cleanly and supported long after launch.

  • Setup, migration & licensing
  • Mailbox, app & user management
  • Ongoing support & troubleshooting
02ITDR

The login is the new perimeter.

Managed ITDR

Identity Threat Detection & Response for Microsoft 365, watching for account takeovers, BEC, session hijacking and malicious inbox rules.

  • 24/7 identity monitoring
  • Account takeover & BEC detection
  • Rapid response from a security team
03EDR

Every endpoint. Always watched.

Managed EDR

Endpoint Detection & Response across laptops, desktops and servers. Real threats are investigated and actively handled, day or night.

  • 24/7 endpoint monitoring
  • Ransomware & malware detection
  • Active response from a security team

Illustrative response scenario

One stolen login.
Three layers of protection.

A practical example of how Microsoft 365 hardening, EDR and ITDR can work together when a user's credentials are stolen.

01 / The risk

The attacker never touches a company device.

A phishing email exposes an employee's Microsoft 365 credentials. The attacker signs in from an unmanaged device, browses SharePoint and attempts to create a hidden mailbox rule.

02A

Harden access

MFA and conditional access make stolen credentials harder to use.

02B

Watch devices

EDR monitors protected laptops and servers for malicious behaviour.

02C

Watch identities

ITDR looks for impossible travel, risky sign-ins and account abuse.

03 / The response

Suspicious access becomes an actionable alert.

The unusual login can be investigated immediately, active sessions revoked, the account secured and attempted access reviewed before the incident spreads further.

Illustrative scenario based on a typical layered-security deployment; it is not presented as a named client result.

Common questions

Clear answers.
No security theatre.

The practical version of what these services do, where they overlap and why a smaller business may still need them.

01What is the difference between EDR and traditional antivirus?

Traditional antivirus mainly looks for known threats. Managed EDR continuously watches behaviour across protected laptops, desktops and servers, giving a security team the context needed to investigate and contain suspicious activity before it becomes a larger incident.

02If we already have EDR, why would we also need ITDR?

They protect different attack surfaces. EDR watches devices; ITDR watches identities, sign-ins and access inside services such as Microsoft 365. If stolen credentials are used from an unmanaged device, EDR may never see it, while ITDR can flag unusual login or account behaviour.

03How can Omega help us get more value from Microsoft 365?

Omega can handle tenant setup, migrations, licensing, user management, security configuration and ongoing support. The aim is a Microsoft 365 environment that is easier for your team to use, properly protected and sized around what the business actually needs.

04Is our data safe in the cloud, and who is responsible for it?

Cloud security is shared. Microsoft protects the underlying cloud platform, while each organisation remains responsible for its users, access, configuration and data. Omega helps close those gaps with measures such as MFA, conditional access, identity monitoring, endpoint protection and an appropriate backup strategy.

05Is a small business really a target for cyberattacks?

Yes. Many phishing, credential-theft and ransomware campaigns are automated, so they do not choose victims by company size. Smaller teams can be hit especially hard by downtime or data loss, which is why practical, right-sized protection matters.

06What does managed IT support include?

The exact scope is agreed with each client, but it can include proactive maintenance, monitoring, patching, help-desk support, troubleshooting and practical IT guidance. It replaces repeated break-fix emergencies with a team that knows your environment and stays involved.

07Does Microsoft 365 still need a separate backup?

Microsoft 365 includes resilience, retention features and recycle bins, but these are not the same as an independent backup. A separate backup creates another recovery path for accidental deletion, malicious changes, ransomware or data that falls outside the available retention window.

Most support requests don't fit neatly into one category.
